Stella Atkinson Physiotherapist (Women’s Health and Pilates)
Stella is a dedicated Physiotherapist with a special interest in women’s health and a strong background in high-level sport. She holds a Bachelors of Physiotherapy from Griffith University. Growing up in the coastal town of Ballina near Byron Bay, she developed a love for staying active and spending time outdoors. In 2021, following the disruptions of COVID, she moved to the Gold Coast to pursue new opportunities in both sport and study.
Alongside her physiotherapy career, Stella plays semi-professional netball for the Gold Coast Titans in the Sapphire Series. Her experience as an athlete has shaped her understanding of the physical and mental demands placed on women in sport, and this passion naturally evolved into a deep interest in women’s health physiotherapy. She is committed to supporting women through all stages of life—from staying active and injury-free, to navigating pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and returning confidently to exercise.
Stella brings fresh knowledge, enthusiasm, and an evidence-based approach to her practice. She strives to create a welcoming and supportive environment where women feel heard, educated, and empowered in their health.
Outside of physiotherapy, Stella enjoys netball, strength training, staying fit, and making the most of coastal living.
